We are not a detox facility, and this website does not provide medical care. Our job is to explain withdrawal risk, what detox does and doesn't do, and how to evaluate care — clearly enough that you can make a sound decision under pressure.

Our editorial standards are simple to state: medical claims follow federal clinical guidance and are sourced on each page; we don't publish success rates, invented statistics, or credentials we don't have; we never advise anyone to stop alcohol or benzodiazepines abruptly; and emergency guidance — 911 and 988 — always outranks any phone number of ours.
